A video of work progression in the making of this drawing on rag paper. Two photos from Les Arènes in Arles, France show some of the inspiration for this work. The piece is about the resilience of kids and teens during Covid-19 in 2020 while the world around them has taken numerous paths to cope with the pandemic.

This video shows the progression of the drawing, created outside, from sketches and pics inspired by a location in North York near Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue.
A whole variety of media were used: Sumi, Chinese Watercolour, Charcoal, Caran d’Ache Neocolour Wax Pastel, Charcoal, and Sennelier Chalk Pastel.
