Like so many others in the artworld, I have become fascinated with the concept and traceability of NFTs. I have also been impressed by the security provided to artists by this new form of dissemination of our work. However, I have been concerned about the carbon footprint created by the production of these tokens and I’ve been sitting on the fence about whether to proceed or not. I have 6 images ready to go and 1 video, so I will be waiting and watching over the next few months to see if much, if anything, changes in that arena. Likely I will launch at least one NFT by the Fall, and will decide on the others by the end of 2021. Stay tuned.
